Introduction

I am currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology at Hamilton College. My research focuses on 1) understanding how structures in the human medial temporal lobe supports our cognitive abilities, such as memory, perception and language, and 2) how structural changes in those regions, particularly in the context of aging and dementia, affect cognition.

Prior to coming to Hamilton, I was a postdoctoral researcher  in the lab of Dr. Adam Brickman at the Taub Institute for Research on Alzheimer’s Disease and the Aging Brain at the Columbia University Medical Center. I completed my PhD in Psychology at the University of Toronto in the lab of Dr. Morgan Barense, and received a BSc and a BA from Columbia University.
